That Menards is a Goota' NASCAR driver heh?

Picked up the rain gutter stuff, came home and got-er-done. It started sprinkling a little, but now it's clearing off again. No guarantee it won't rain more though. Me thinks I'll clean up everything and pull all the remaining broken boards. Then, hopefully by Saturday, break out the pressure washer.

The rain doesn't seem to be stopping the construction crew.

Mornin'. 62.4°f and cloudy but no rain "yet". I have a CAT track loader to letter today. They want it done for display at the company picnic later today. Then next week it's spoze' to replace the loader up town doing the downtown project. It's a pretty smart piece of equipment. The bucket is GPS guided and can automatically dig the trench for the new sewer line at the right depth and the right pitch. Pretty cool. What will they think of next.

Then, if it doesn't rain too much, I plan to spend the day on the deck removing broken boards and anything else that looks like it's seen it's better days.
Then it'll be time to pressure wash.

Man, you don't even have to think with that machine.
61/81 with rain on the way. I didn't have to stay overnight so I am home now. They poked and probed and made me wait for several hours before I got in the operating room. Good to go but on limited abilities for a week or so. Sharon is going to mow the lawn today and I will supervise from the porch while drinking a ice cold Diet Coke. :D :D :D

Sounds like you got the best of the lawn mowing tasks there Jack, sumbudies' gotta' do it right?  Glad to hear all went well yesterday.

Got the machines lettered. They're runnin' street sweepers, landscapers are workin on the lawn, Wash bay is runnin' non-stop getting all the display equipment cleaned up. I got the track hoe with the autonomous bucket done this morning. They'll be working all day, oh & the BBQ smelled goota'. With the exhaust fumes from all the cleaning going on and the BBQ, it sorta' smelled like being at the track.

The sun is shining, I 'hink I'll get to work on the deck for awhile, shutting down around 3p for the Company BBQ.

Good work as always. Denise and I enjoyed some time with her teacher friends down on the Potomac River today. Two of her friends built a marvelous house down there. Emily moved back to Chicago on Thursday. They asked her to take over that office. We will see her when we drive across country later this month to see Denise's folks. bp

Mornin'. BBQ was goota' as always. 62.1°f with sunshine, after heavy rain last night. (after we left the picnic, but before dark:30).

Sunday morning, so I'm in "wait for Cheryl" mode.

Moved Em's stuff out of her apartment as she was unable to get to it all before she left. Home again and relaxing. bp
