Morning. bp, get on Facebook with LL for the rooms. I have a truck load of scrap from the garage sale leftover so I am going to the recycle station this morning then over to my annual doctor's appointment for my physical. It will be raining off and on all day today but the temps are good. Tried to sell the dump truck at the garage sale but no luck. I think I will put it on Craigslist. :D :D :D

Mornin'. 72.5°f and rainy. I plan to do some sign stuff, then switch over to deck mode for the rest of the day. I have some trim to cut/paint and new steps to cut/paint and a few other odds N ends that can be done inside, rain or shine. Over the weekend it said rain Monday, then dry Tues. thru Fri. Now it's saying rain Mon. & Tues. then dry Wed thru Sat.? Why do I have this feeling the dry days may not stay dry days? The radar shows more and more little green spec thingies in the midwest.

The little green specs are here.

I did the deck stuff this morning and the sign stuff this afternoon to work around the rain. Except for a few odd n ends I 'hink I have all the trim boards, cut now. We've got thunder boomers and rain, but it's getting light in the west, like the rain might give up. It'd be nice to get some more pressure washing done B4 dark.

Fun day with brothers, sisters, and nephews yesterday and then drove to Chicago today. Had dinner with Em and will do one more day of sightseeing and visiting with Em before heading to Omaha on Wednesday. Enjoy the week! bp

Tell Em Hi BP.

73.0°f and there's not a cloud in the sky. A dry day would be a great thing. Off to the Men's Breakfast for Old Retired Guys, in a few. Got a truck to letter in Joliet. Then I might just play hooky and take advantage of the dry day to work on the deck.

70.7°f and cloudy, but dry. No rain to speak of yesterday. Started to sprinkle, then cleared off. Got about 1/2 the deck stained yesterday. I'm running short on stain so Cheryl and I went to Morris to pick up another gal. They were out  but the guy said he'd have a new shipment overnight & offered to deliver it this morning. Cool deal. Should be here in 1/2 hour or so. Sunz' popping out, everything's dry, so hopefully I can finish up the staining today. The rest is just assembling stuff, so the weather isn't as big a deal. LQQKs to be on track to get this job finished before DLN's.

Bright sun this morning with 76.8°f. Rain overnight, so that puts the kibosh on staining the deck for awhile. There's plenty of little jobs to do in the meantime, not the least of which is 4 EEO boards for the road const. guys.
