Evening. In the 90's and humid today, required several breaks to cool down.
Got everything stained, and though it got stormy looking towards the end the sky didn't leak. It's dry enough now that rain shouldn't bother it Ann E. Moore. Stars are out and the radar looks clear. Tomorrow I have a 4'x8' sign to put on posts and another sign to take off a wall as the business is closing. Maybe pick up some PVC lattice for the deck tomorrow if all goes according to plan. Gettin' close to a done deal. My Dick Tracey step-o-meter says 31,500 steps today. No wonder I be pooped.
Got home from Jenni & J.D.'s (and Grandkids) & found a stack of road signs. Tomorrow won't be a day off I'm thinkin'.

Mornin. 67,8°f but humid, so it feels hot already. I'm cutting vinyl for a Mantis excavator that is setting outside, so I'm hoping to get it done before the sun gets too high in the sky.

HI, everyone from sunny Omaha. Yes, I do mean sunny. Denise and I just got a legit 109 reading from the van thermometer. Em is doing well in Chicago. We had a fun time at sister Judy's, in Chicago, and here in Omaha. We begin our drive back on Monday. Hope all are doing well. bp

Thanks Jack.
I got everything done, but changing out the light switch in the gazebo and rebuilding the 3 gazebo doors that are sagging and have torn up screens. Oh, and I bought a 1/2pint of Por15 to repaint the hinges & latches. That won't happen until it cools off a little though. Mid 90's the last few days.

Went out for lunch after Church. Heading home in 90°f+, humid air. When we got to the bridge it was 87°f. Started raining, by the time we got over the 1/4 mile bridge in was 76°f and raining hard. The 5 mile trip south was slow going in very heavy rain and the temp had dropped to 68°f by the time we turned east for the 7 miles to home. About half way home the rain had stopped and the road was dry as a bone. With no rain, the temp raised back up the 87°f by the time we got home. The rain is just now catching up, so the temp. will probably drop again.

Hello from beautiful Walnut, Iowa. Denise and I got an hour out of Omaha heading East when we noticed someone burrning oil big time. Looked out the back window and it was US! Smoking like a BBQ. Called around and found a local guy well rated so we did a U turn and headed over there. Turns out a rubber hose broke in the oiling system. They ordered an afternarket one from a place about 20 miles away and we are stuck here overnight! Luckly, there was a Econolodge right next door to the shop and a truck stop across the street. That was where we cobbled together some dinner. I did the show with Audrey Worm from the hotel room and it worked out great. So, hoping that we will get good news in the monring... Lucky that we are on vacation and have a few extra days to work with. LIfe's an adventure! bp
