We toured a castle this morning and hiked some trails this afternoon. Got caught twice by rain during the hiking. Finished the day off with dinner at The Inn at Cedar Falls. It's an old log cabin built in the 1600's, food was great. Drove a couple miles down the winding road and came up on a soft serve ice cream place that was just about to shut down for the day. They made us a couple cones before they closed up.
For some reason, my photo processing software is asking for a serial number  so these are just low res JPGs.

Got a great sleep in, did a few more hours of work and then headed up to Pittsburgh. Survived a crash in Maryland (not us, just getting around it), a ton of heavy rain, and the usual number of folks driving slow, but we made it! Heidi and Daryl met us at the hotel and we turned right around and drove to Pittsburgh for the dinner cruise and incline ride. They have fixed up the place a bit and the walk to the cruise was a little nicer than last time. Had a great dinner and a beautiful night on the river. Will send pics and vids. bp

Great day two at the Draglist Nats at Keystone Raceway Park in New Alexandria, Pennsylvania. And our own Darryl Arnold is now a funny car driver! He made a great half-track pass that would have been a 7.60 something had he driven it out the back door! Hoping he can make another run tomorrow! bp

Howdy, everyone. Back home safely! Super hot here in DC (at least 10 degrees hotter than Pittsburgh and lots more humidity)!

So great to see everyone this weekend (well, everyone who could attend). Missed all our other members.

Will caption a few Facebook and Amazon photo pics tonight. And I'll cobble together a short race report to discuss the on track action.

Have a great week! bp

Hi, everyone. Back to reality today with a good day at work. Had a fun show with TAD driver Steve Fox Jr. tonight. Interesting thing is that he's partnered on the car with Bob Toth and Steve Musser from the Time Bomb car, so those guys were on the Facebook chat with us.

I just added Daryl to the drag lists but I need to get his details on his runs only have 7.67-177 but you know I love the decimals, too! (I also need one of these great Gary Spear photos for his entry instead of the hack shot I took myself!)

I also need to get everyone else's numbers recorded and maybe even do a short results story. bp

Got a few signs done this morning. Drove a friend from small group to a dentist appointment this afternoon, as she's unable to drive in the city. Then I got a sad email from a high school buddy in Iowa. My classmate Danny, lost his Daughter to complications from a heart attack this week. She was 36. She was in a bad accident in 2010 and was at a care facility. She leaves behind 4 children ages 9 to 17. I didn't know her, but remember Danny talking about her when we visited with him on our anniversary vacation to Florida a couple years ago.
