Mornin'. A brisk 51°f this morning with SE winds barely registering. Hope to get the door jams of the shop service doors pressure washed today & painted early next week. Maybe spend the rest of the day cleaning up the shop and garage. Then off to see the Kids/Grandkids tonight.

Hoped you get some down time in NY BP, but it sounds like a tight schedule.

6 days remain in the Anniversary countdown.

Good morning! Sunny but cooler here today. Went out and got a blood test in advance of my six-month doc visit on Thursday. This will be a super compressed week. Monday - NYC, Tuesday and Wednesday - back to back meetings, Thursday - doc in Baltimore, Friday morning driving down to the Galot Motorsports Park to announce that event. No down time in NYC. I'll be in an Uber or a meeting for the entire time there. Flying back in the afternoon. Have to leave the house at 4 am to catch my flight. Yikes. Thank goodness for the holiday on the following Monday! I'll need the rest! bp

Evening. Been busy here too. We're heading out tomorrow for our Anniversary vacation. Cheryl's worked enough OT this week, so we can leave at 10:15 in the morning. I'll drop her off and pick her back up right at 10:15. This trip will be a lot of driving. First couple days will be driving in some pretty uneventful country, so we'll just concentrate on logging Miles.
Looks like we're gettin' outa' town at about the time time. They shut down Broadway at the tracks. Maybe they'll have it close to finished by the time we get back. Well, maybe.

They dug up some RR tracks today. It was a surprise to everybody they were there. Buried under the street for who knows how long.

Have fun on your announcing tour BP.

Mornin'. 67°f, but they say the bottom may drop out of the thermometer today or over the weekend.
Waiting for Cheryl to get ready for work. I'm dropping her off, then picking her up at 10:15a (probably more like 10:30a) and then we'll embark on the ''2019 Anniversary Tour''.

Howdy from the hotel after a successful event at GALOT motorsports park. You'll see lots of coverage online. NYC trip went well and drive down to NC did, too. Had a fun weekend, including getting in Jerry Baltes' top fuel car for a cacklefest! Driving back tomorrow. bp

Hope you are having a restful Columbus Day. I am at home but working and finally caught up on sleep after a big weekend at the Nostalgia Drag Race and Musclecar Shakedown at GALOT Motorsports Park. What a great facility. I had a super time, getting to announce both days, make some deserving awards on Friday night, and then set up the Cacklefest on Saturday afternoon. I even got to sit in and cackle Jerry and Pat Baltes' 1964 World Record holding Top Fueler! Tons of pics on Facebook and I'll share some up here as soon as I can. But back to day job work to prepare for the week! bp
