Thanks, Jim. We made it through fine. The brunt of the storm hit a few hundred miles North.

I'm waiting to hear from Barb Santucci, who had to be evacuated in New Jersey. bp

Out here in Ohio no where near as bad as further east - minor flooding and power lines down. Hope Barb is ok and also worried about fellow photog Bob Wenzelburg his town in PA has had flood issues before. Stay safe everyone

Barb is OK. She went back today and found a big mess outside but no water and no damage to her house. Some of her neighbors weren't so lucky. Just really glad she came through fine on high ground and came home to find everything OK. Prayers sent to all in harm's way. WC1

8) This morning news showed the mess in NJ. This was worse than the big snow storm--March of 93. We have tornatoes and an occational quake. But here in Central, IL. only small effects from Hurricanes.

I recall Hugo in 1989. IHRA Fall Nats at Britol. People were evacuating the town and we stupid drag racers were pitting at the track. Of course it got cancelled. Went back next week and it rained out. Still Hugo. That race got cancelled 2 weeks in a row. We went 3 times. Third time was the charm. We did race.But- I did not win anything in Quick 8. Ran in TS next day. Got beat second round. Got paid $100

No wonder I match and curcuit raced. It paid decent. TS still pays like sh-t! :? With cars worth 200K :?: I did get exposure and a couple match race dates out of the effort. Back then , expecially on the brink of Pro Mod evolving--promotors came looking for slammer acts that put the people on their feet. Especially the winter and fall races. 8)

I am amazed at the cars I'm seeing today running TS... all based on what you guys started!

Believe it or not, the pavement around me is actually drying out already. It rained straight for two days, but no flooding in the house (as has happened in years past). But I put several grand into home improvements in January that helped no doubt.

Our neighbors just a few hundred miles north got hammered as you can see on TV. Our best to all of them. bp

Senor Bandito is in Newport News, Virginia...he must have felt this storm but I believe he would have experienced a blizzard instead of the flooding? I'll check on his FB page. Thanks for the reminder, Zap!
Update: It all looks cool on his page, he's Halloweening it up...but I'll ask him to post an update...
