I'm actually at a pretty much maintenance mode and I have to adjust my strategy.
I'm at the point where I can't use simple calorie deficits to lose the last 10 lbs. That's because I don't want to lose any muscle instead.
I have started weight lifting to gain a little muscle and lose the fat. I've traded about three pounds for three pounds in February.
I've been as low as 208 but at 213 sitting here tonight. I recently realized that I probably won't see the 190s (at least not the mid 190s). Not without cutting into muscle. I bought a fancy new scale that weighs muscles, bones, and fat. I found out that my bones and muscles alone weigh 183 lbs.! So when I get to 200-203, I should be have about ten percent body fat. That might take a while... but going to see how much I can do by April 1 in a final push. Will I be a fool?
