Bummer!
The shop can be replaced, but the history is gone. Damn!

Just glad they are OK... and hope they had at least some level of insurance. Can't replace that priceless Camaro, though. bp

They just had a fire announced on the TV News started by "Linseed Oil" not being
dispose of properly. A lady cleaned her furniture and threw the rag into the trash
can. It started smoking and then caught fire. She caught it in time. If using it,
let the cloth dry out first before throwing it away.
I didn't know that - did you?

Yes, I did. I tend to throw soaked rags by the trash can in the shop or hang them over the edge to dry. Even if it's laquer thinner or mineral spirits or any solvent for that matter. I throw them in the trash a day or 2 later when they are good & dry. Better safe than sorry. I don't use linseed oil often but I believe it has a warning on the label. With linseed oil I just take them to the trash outside right away.

Sad news about the fire for sure.
