BP, Virgil has wanted to get me into his car for a little while now. We are trying to get our schedules to where it would work. I am pretty excited about the chance to drive his funnycar for him.

I have kept quiet about it until it works out. Evidently Virgil is ready to let everybody know he wanted me!

Just so there are no questions,,,,It is over and above my Nitro Madness AA/FA ride. NOTHING has changed there.

That's fantastic! You would be an amazing ambassador for classic funny car racing and I think that's what Virgil's looking for (in addition to a SUPER SHOE!) bp

Randy, I joke around a lot with you but, I really believe you would fit well in his organization. You are a fantastic driver and a great asset in the world of drag racing. I'm so happy to have had the chance to meet you and your gang.

Randy, Virgil see's what I've seen in you too. Your the type of guy who can drive anything, because when those belts are buckled, it does'nt matter whether it's an altered, a funnycar, or a top fuel car, You are focused, and are a professional. You not only possess the qualities of an excellent driver, you know when things aren't right with the car. Scott see's it, I see it, and Virgil see's it too. You have all the qualities a professional driver has, skill, charisma, and brains to do the right thing in any given situation. You may not see what we see, but buddy, we see a lot in you. Virgil would be lucky to have a man such as you to pilot one of his cars, and he knows it too.

Do it , I'll be there hanging on the fence yellin!

I had to take a few deep breathes before I could reply. I was going to say I can't believe this gang,,,,but you know what. I do believe, you all have nothing but the best to me from day one. That is what makes our group so special. We all look out for and genuinely care about each other!

I don't know about all that great driver stuff. I dearly love it, and it feels so right when I am in the car. Just seems natural. I wish I was as good as you guys think.
