Banner ad changes

Postby draglist » Wed Oct 30, 2013 1:19 pm

Hi folks. We experienced some growing pains as our advertising agency worked through a new banner ad display system. Specifically, I had limited success in turning off the 'pop up' video ads offered by one of the advertisers. While those were high paying ads, I and others found them off-putting due to the way they force you to watch them.

I'm happy to report that I have finally been able to remove those ads from the rotation. In addition, you will be seeing some new ones showing up on the draglist message board and throughout the site.

Thanks for your patience as I worked through this. Bill

I appreciate that, BP! "Ambush Advertising" is rampant on the net, and I know your standards are very high. You've always taken care of business for us. WC1
