Whither Terry Cook?

Postby thunderlungs » Thu Oct 31, 2013 12:33 pm

Many of we who now occupy the "Geezer" class will remember Terry Cook, the outgoing, innovative Editor of Car Crfat in the 70's. After promoting a yearly "Kustom" event for years, TC threw the custom world into a tizzy with his "Scrape" concept. Well recently, he's again struck a new chord by creating complete vehicles through an enterprise called "Delahaye, USA". He's building some pretty cool stuff! Here's a URL to an ezine article wiith pictures of his latest creation. Enjoy.

Terry also had one of the biggest and over the top custom car shows called Lead East. You were able to see stuff there that was really off the wall. I remember a mid engine Studebaker pickup that comes to mind. Great show. :D
