Hey friends, Linda is having surgery tomorrow. (MON 2pm) Dr. says expect about 2 hrs to repair torn rotator in right shoulder. He says not to worry, but I still do. To me surgery is surgery. Perhaps if ya get a minute, maybe a prayer for her. I / WE would appreciate it friends, thanks.

Will do. Tell LL we're thinking of her and saying a prayer for 2pm. Hope all goes well.

BTW: Tell Linda she may have to slow down her fast ball this season, 'til it heals up.

Get her in shape for the Amish buggy races on the 4th. Tell her we love her.

UP-DATE: LL is being kept over night again. She is in a LOT of pain. They had a patch behind her ear and left it on overnight, now she complains of being dizzy. (oh the strait lines there-but she threatened to kill me). She always has a tuff time coming out of anesthesia, but I never saw her have trouble this long. Now that the patch is off we'll see if she clears up. ' They have her on powerful pain meds, Percocet & Valium. Perc helps with the pain, but the Val is a muscle relaxer and shuts her right off.

I expect to bring her home Tomorrow, but then I thought the same for Monday.....

Finally got my baby home this (Wed.) afternoon. She is still in much pain, but I'm keeping her doped up like the nurse said to do. Two different nurses told me a shoulder is a very painful surgery. I believe. But now she is under the watchful eye of nurse Zappy, so I'm hoping to see improvement soon.

Thanks again for the prayers and encouragement.

Been a few days since had time to get on computer for fun - glad everything went well - she's got a couple rough weeks ahead but will soon be chasing the Zapster around with the frying pan again
