Wow. San Diego tried their damndest to give that game away today and in the end they finally did. I salute Schottenheimer for getting them that far, but they made the same dumb mistakes that I used to agonize over when Marty was coaching the Browns in the 80s. You just can't give Tom Brady and the Patriots that many chances and today, they got bit. bp

Sorry guys, I like Marty..
He wasn't on the field.........
Some Players made some serious mistakes...penalties..and not just battin' down that 4th down pass.
Marty's (staff & him),Coaching was terrific.
I am a Bellicheck&Brady fan...But, A Serious Horseshoe was in both of their pockets Sunday
Congratulations to a great season Marty & the Chargers. LT..You are fantastic!

The Seahawks too!

Yes..Good Rex showed up for the Bears! (overall)
Bad Rex tried like hell too...LOL

Marty is a great regular season coach. The problem with Marty that has happened in Cleveland, Kansas City, and now San Diego is that he does everything to win in the regular season at the expense of wearing his teams out and getting players hurt in unimportant games in the last couple of weeks of a season (Drew Brees). This is something he has done in three different cities. The Browns should have went to the Super Bowl but a bad play call and they lost to "The Drive". His teams in KC were better than the Browns but he could not win a playoff game for the above reasons.

I'm with 'Gate on Marty...he's had some bad breaks but I believe he's as good a coach as there is out there. Saints/Bears is definitely going to be the big one. Good luck to all of the last 4 teams left, who all deserve to win. WC1
