I'm going to the Texans' (0-3) game tomorrow. They're hosting Miami (1-2) in what is sure to be a 4-hour yawner, but what the heck...we'll ride in wife's boss' gigantic RV with killer stereo full of classic country, cook barbecued burgers in the parking lot, and I get to hang out with my favorite sister-in-law (she likes me) before we go into Reliant Stadium and squeeze into our 3/4-sized seats (ya get more people in that way) and watch the game on the big screen in the end zone, but like I say, it's all good. Good luck to da Bearz tomorrow...who ya got, ProZ? Cheers, WC1

That looks like the game of the week, for sure...it's on free TV, too! No Joe Theisman! I'll be watching. Big test for both teams. Thing is, since the 'Hawks were in the SuperBowl last year, they get all the big press. The Bears have been "quietly" winning all their games (like the Bengals). They could give the Seahawks a "surprize" pounding...I'd sure rather go to see two 3-0 teams play than an 0-3 team hosting a 1-2 team, but here in Houston it ain't so much about the team, it's about HAVING a team and being part of the NFL. It's a party, all day long. If we need to check the stats on the Texans, it's easy...we just scroll down to the bottom of each category and there we are in every column! Life is good! I just hope Mr. Blomstrom (Debby's boss) got that Texans t-shirt washed this season. I wore it last year and I don't think it'd been washed since the team signed the franchise papers 3 years before that...Cheers, WC1

Crazy win, but the Texans won...will miracles never cease? Good luck to da Bearz tonight. I'll be rooting, but silently. I screamed my voice away at Reliant Stadium today. What a madhouse! It was fun, but expensive, my God...4 bucks for a Coke. $4.50 for a bag of peanuts. We spent 20 bucks on a lousy paper tray of chicklets (that's piglets made out of chicken), a bag of peanuts and 2 drinks. But we got a cheeleader's autograph...they are awesome babes, and we had 'em right in front of us for most of the game. It was hard to watch the game, but we stayed till it was over. 70,000 people were there. Miami and Houston are 2 bad teams out there slugging it out and we won is about all I can say for it. Zach Thomas is a monster. He's not a big or fast guy by NFL standards. He would be extremely big and fast if he were a television repairman or something, but out on the football field, he's almost a head shorter than most of those guys. The difference is that he gives 250% on every down and he don't let up. He's the captain of their defense, and he plays to destroy and demoralize the other team...I did see that out there. If they had 10 more guys like him on that Miami defense, they would have routed us. I think Zach got drafted by the Colts and he went free agent and signed on with the Fish a few years back...Cheers, WC1
