The winningest pitcher in Astros history. 144 wins for us, and he got us into the post-season for the first time in 1980. Everybody liked Joe. He was an OK guy in this town. He won a World Series with the Twins in 1987 and he had an excellent career. He would have been 62 next month. I remember us all having a good laugh when he got busted on TV in the nail-file incident...he had the wickedest knuckleball you ever saw...RIP, Joe. You were the greatest! WC1
