June Pointer

Youngest Pointer sister died @ 52. There's a group that was a big part of the 70's. Didn't realize any of them were that young.
15th Annual DRAGLIST Nationals Sometime in 2020. Somewhere in the USA.

I don't know it for certain because I didn't hear it personally, but one of my friends told me that once you got past the top 40 type hits on their albums, they had some pretty rocking session musicians that did some great music. Maybe Cat can fill us in? bp

yep.. me and dad were dicussing the Pointer sisters family today...he says they go back a ways to gospel before the hit songs.... WC1 will know.. :(

The Pointer Sisters go all the way back to the early days of rock 'n roll...they started out gospel...they were singing together when they were little girls in their Daddy's church...here's some good information on them. RIP June...such a sweetheart...WC1
