Jim, would love to here some stories about your uncle. I could and sometimes do sit all day listening to or reading stories about the old days of drag racing. Stories about your uncles exploits would be great! Jimmihawk, would love to hear your stories also. Mike

Jim, I hope you'll continue to give more writing on Curt some consideration. A few words from the heart describing a memory of an experience....or relating a story your Uncle Curt described to YOU can evoke a mental image...a photograph for the rest of us that was never taken with a camera. From Village Elders to Journalists, that's always been a key. We'd be honored to "sit in the circle" and listen..........frankly, that's been a driving motive for me with all this "nostalgia" stuff.
For example: Knowing how much Curt Wasson accomplished without "store bought" parts is significantly important for many of us to want to hear more.........

Yep, I agree with racersforcoffee, like to here some stories. Did you ever go with Curtis to Alton Dragway. I've talked to several racers who raced against him at Alton and everyone all says the same thing, he was a hard worker and very hard to beat. Mike

I'm with you guys on that...Doc has first-person witnessing on Curt's deal...I am a big fan of Curt Wasson after reading what Jim Sanders said about him. The album is great, Doc. Coffee, your writings and the website they're on are excellent. WC1
