We're really gonna miss having Rick Stambaugh around at the drags... I had the pleasure of meeting the man and interviewing him for Drag Racing Underground's Funny Car Reunion Raw dvd release... He was truly a gentleman and represented the Nostalgia F/C scene with class, good insight and dignity, man, oh man, we could sure use more men like Rick Stambaugh in this scene... He was one of the nost f/c guys who didn't play the role of "drama queen" at the track (or on the internet, if you know what I mean)-- He didn't get his kicks picking on chicks, or being a bully... Rick was solid and true-grit, all American, no whining drag racing stock... He will be missed by me (and many others), that's for sure... Godspeed... Diana
