Very sad. I did not hear about this. He was a part of our local fast doorslammer scene for a long time. bp

Bert was one of the most fearless racers to ever take the tree wheter in his own Outlaw Teal Camaro or Enoch Love's P/S.
His match races in the area, especially at places like Colonial Beach and Old Dominion where he would often race the Freemans, were legendary.
On top of this Bert was just a plain good guy.
His presence will be missed. He was booked in to run a match race at Old Dominion in the Camaro just this past Sunday and would surely have
had the joint rockin'.
God Bless
