Most of you won't be familar with Tom, but the racing world has lost a great individual. Tom was a drag racer from Geneva, OH and about 10 years ago found out he had ALS disease. As you maybe know, this is a fatal disease and this past Sunday we lost Tom. Tom and Paul Suloff organized the Renegade Racing Assoc. about 3 years ago knowing there was a need in this area for a return to heads-up type of racing. And every year the organization was growing thanks to Tom's tireless work getting sponsors for the series. I came in contact with Tom about 2 years ago with a phone conversation and lined him up with a friend to go on a local radio program that deals with racing in the eastern Ohio and western PA areas. I was looking forward to seeing him this season since I was going to try and make all the Renegade races this season. His wife Kristal posted on the Internet that Tom had passed away Sunday going on his own terms. Tom was only 42 years old and leaves behind his wife and 3 children. May you rest in peace my friend and you will be missed by many, but your legacy and inspiration will long be with us.
