Back in the early 80's we (Big Stick) were hanging and working with renowned NYC disc jockey/mixer/producer Ted Currier (of WBLS and "Atomic Dog" fame, and Ted created the drum track for our CRACK ATTACK hit)... Ted had a gig spinning records at the gigantic FUNHOUSE dance club on Manhattan's west side... I distinctly remember being there and hearing Donna Summer's "I FEEL LOVE" on the club's humongous state-of-the-art sound system for the first time, and thinking how it's the most uniquely spacey, sensual and soulful dance record EVER.... Donna Summer really did have a special vocal gift and a disposition that made her easy to like... That gal had serious chops... She is going to be sorely missed by many music fans... Goodbye Donna Summer we love you back... Diana
