A much-beloved man here in Houston as a coach, he was also a player on George Allen's "Over-The-Hill Gang" with the Redskins. He played 15 seasons in the NFL as a linebacker. The only man to have coached in College Football, the NFL, the USFL, the WFL, and the CFL. I could go on, but I want to wish my condolences to Jack's family. May he rest in peace. He was a fine gentleman. WC1

Being a "Redskins Fan" Forever, I seen him play and coach. He is now in a "huddle" in Heaven.

Most football teams run a variation of his "Run & Shoot" now called the spread these days. His influence runs deep.
