There will never be another Ray Harryhausen. He was arguably the greatest cinematic special-effects artist who ever lived. George Lucas and Stephen Spielberg were huge fans of his. From "Mighty Joe Young" to "The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad" to his masterpiece "Jason and the Argonauts", his incredible animated scenes captivated generations of moviegoers and still do to this day. Thanks, Ray, you were truly fantastic. Rest in peace. WC1
