Dick Trickle, who raced in the 70's and 80's and then with NASCAR passed away yesterday at age 71. By the time he was 48 years old he had won over 1200 races in 31 years of racing. Rest in peace Mr. Trickle and may God bless you.

How Dick and I met at Daytona Speedway in the early '80's is a story in itself when I was a crewman
on the No.# 22 Stock Car Chevy (would now be a Nationwide Series car) of Tom Raley. You were a
great guy and racer Dick. You will be missed by all. By the way Dick, there is no smoking in Heaven.
R.I.P. ole Buddy.
