One of the true funny car superstars from the great 70s, who also did well in Top Fuel. I got to meet Gordie finally when he worked for Prolong and was proud to show me the new high def audio recordings of race cars they were promoting. What a super nice and cool guy. He treated me as if we had been long time friends. His stories of the behind the scenes monkeyshines from the Fast Company movie were hilarious. Really sorry to see Gordie pass on. Farewell, 240. bp
