Vic, The 35+ year old floater in my car was worn out so I had to park the car. I finally caught up on some other things I needed to take care of and scratched together enough $$$$ to get a new 9" steel floater housing, floater kit and axles.
We picked it up from Strange Engineering Wednesday.
I hope to start working on getting it installed this weekend.
I also have to change some tubes in the chassis to get it to certify to 6.00.

Believe it or not, I have finally made some progress, not much, but some.
I got the chassis stripped most of the way down and, this weekend, I made my own custom chassis jig [????].
I used 2 Home Depot metal saw horses with some homemade adjustable stands. LOL

I have to go out of town tomorrow and will be back Wednesday afternoon. I will get to changing some of the tubes in the car to get it to cert to 6.00. I will then mount the rear end housing. Once that's done, we'll clean and paint the chassis and then reassemble everything.

We still have a lot to do on the Mustang body so we'll probably start out with the Bantam.

I'm hoping to get on tghe track sometime toward the end of June. Remember, I said hoping. LOL
