  as usual i'm as busy as a one armed man in a rowboat race, i'm now involved in the build of a 67 fastback mustang that we'll be racing on pinks, we're already accepted, and are trying to get the car done in time to make a ton of test passes.

link to the build thread and pics. i've also started work on my 66 gmc that i bought back earlier this year. i'll be pulling all my go fast stuff out of my race car and putting it in the truck to have a decent streetable hot rod. i also built my first E85 blowtrough carb and am testing it slowly, i fired my car on E85 for the first time yesterday. also my buddy that had his car featured in car craft last month gave me his engine, i'll be hanging twin 52mm turbo's on it and using it in my true radial car next year.i'm still working on sorting out the fuel injection system that i built, for some reason it's lost the rpm input, and i'm trying to treack that down as i have time. also one of my best friends has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and i've been doing my best to get thier 95 ford exploder in as good shape as possible so he can make the 3 hour round trips to chemotherapy without having to worry about breaking down. he was the first person to ever talk to me about jesus and salvation in a way that i could understand it, and i owe him more than i can ever repay because of the change that it made in my life.

thanks guys, it's pretty tough watching a friend of that caliber dying, and there's nothing i can do to fix it, i'm used to being able to do something about almost anything, and this just hurts. i also forgot to mention that my oldest daughter is recovering from a staph infection in her elbow, it's been pretty crazy around here for the last little while.

It's always good to hear from you, FHB. I sure am sorry to hear about your friend. Sounds like he's a special guy, that's what makes it hard to take. Just trust in the Lord and stay close to him. His spirit will always be with you. Best wishes to you. WC1

thanks guys. i've also managed to put the turbo engine out of my pontiac into my 66 gmc. i'm still working on the homebuilt E85 carb, i've got it running good on the primaries so far, but we've yet to apply boost and see how it behaves.
