Progress Made

Postby Murff » Mon Jun 02, 2008 12:08 am

Well, I took last week as vacation as planned and basically locked myself in the garage. I still have a ton of work to do but the long block is fitted and together, actually stabbed it into the car today, but only temporarily so we can do a little firewall fitting for the flexplate shield.

I am cautiosly optimistic that I should be ale to get a pass in by late June, early July.

Here's a couple of mockup pics. Lippy, thanks for those plates. Had to massage just a skosh but I like the way they fit and the injector placement. Plus, they let me clean up the plumbing a little.

But what I really want to know is how Perry did this weekend?

Thanks for the strokes, folks. It helps.

I know it doesn't dress out like a blown hemi, but I'm doing the best I can with what I got. :)

It's all good Murff. We just do what we can, with what we have and do some racing when we can. It's all about the friends and good times, chasing our dreams. Dream on buddy, follow those dreams. 8)
