Injected sidekick muddragger

I thought I would throw in something a little different, we drag race also but we do it in 160-200' in the dirt/mud. Typical capable times of 2.3 to 2.7 seconds in 160-180' the conditions obviously vary from track to track :shock:

1989 Suzuki sidekick

Chassis Specs :

OEM frame rails w/modified and fabricated suspension and cage

Fabricated rear 4-link w/pan hard bar and Fabricated front 3-link suspension w/ pan hard bar

9" ford rear, Superior axles, strange spool, 4.56 pro gears, QA-1 single adj rear shocks and Disc brakes

Dana 44 front, Superior axles, open diff , 4.56 gears, QA-1 single adj shocks and disc brakes.

Electric/hydraulic pump w/6" hydr ram front steering system.

Edge converter, modified C-6 trans and NP-205 transfer (1.96)

40" cut bogger sor 32" paddle tire (rear) 38" cut boggers (front)

15x18 rear wide- 5 alum rims and 15x12 front wide-5 alum rims

Engine Specs :

514 CI Alcohol Injected BB Ford

4.150 Forged stoker crank

6.800 Alum billet rods

14.8 to 1 Diamond pistons

MSD crank trigger / pro-coil HY-Fire VI ignition

Herbert Solid roller custom grind - 780” lift 290 intake 280 ext 110 center

Crane gold 1.73 roller rockers , roller lifters, SVO girdle

IDT Eliminator A-460 Alum heads - Titanium 2.400 intake /1.88 ext valves. ( flow 450 cfm Int /320 cfm Ext @ 7500 RPM)

Enderle Bird Top Hat Injection, 80A-1 pump , square barrel valve

950 Horsepower (estimated) all motor

F/C Girl - I forgot the times, but I edited them in. Typicaly depending on track we run around 2.3 to 2.7 seconds in 160-180' tracks on "all motor"

Were are contiplating a 250-300 direct port nitrous kit this year. But we haven't made the commitment yet. Were legal to do so in our class. We could possibly expect to see 1,9's to 2.3's . But getting the horsepower down/hooking becomes critical with these changes :shock: :lol:
