BP, I got a copy of the Cruizin Times magazine January issue yesterday from Denny Salzwimmer. There's a great article in there about the Marion race with a nice burnout photo of my car. The caption mentions the Draglist decal which is prominent in the pic. I thought that was cool!!!!
Sorry I don't have a scanner.
Thanks, Rocky. I need to get a copy of that! I'll email John. bp

Zappy

Postby Zappy » Mon Jan 26, 2009 1:59 am

Zappy, I think the original date last year was Sept. 13, but it got rained out.

I don't think anyone will have a problem with him lifting the body. That thing is heavy.
He has no trouble picking me up & tossing me over his shoulder. Ok, I'll tell him he's the offical body lifter & lower.

Rain out, thats it. I knew it was delayed several weeks.

I still have to clear things with the crew guys, but I don't see a problem.

Ya gotta remember Zapster, I get booted down to wheelie bar wheel chalk guy when the whole crew is there. Sometimes I get to turn Rocky's sweaty fire pants inside out. I"M TALKING WHEN HE'S OUT OF THEM!! :P

I saw the Bandito work at Eddyville. He's the real deal. I don't know how he did it...it was 108 degrees and he worked on The Kansas Twister all day long...from high-end to low-end stuff, he did it all. Dude's a trouper. Rocky has a damn good crew for sure! WC1

Your right, Cat. I do have a darn good crew and I am very grateful to have them. I appreciate each and every one of them.
There were times in the past that I drug my funny car to the track by myself and grabbed whoever I could to help me.
I like it this way much better. :D
