It's back to school time for the Illinois Patrol Dodge Omni funny car and the Solid Rock Mustang Mach I funny car. Rocky Ausec and Sgt. Mike Johnstone will be taking their nostalgia funny cars to three area schools in the coming weeks.
On October 21 they will be at the Indian Vally Vocational Center in Sandwich, IL, on October 27, Oswego High School in Oswego, IL. and on November 1 they will be at the Grundy County Vocational center in Morris, IL.
Sgt. Mike and Rocky talk to the students on a variety of subjects including, but not limited to, safe driving, making good decisions, the importance of marketable skills, internet responsibility and career opportunities in the hot rodding industry.
