I don't have enough pennies yet.

i can see the car with a blown big block though.

I guess I am sort of old school. i do dig the new technology and the obscene numbers that these turbo charged, injected motors are making but I just love the sound of a blown block lettin it all hang out.

As Mr. VanZant so elegantly stated... I'm a simple...... kinda man....

You ant to know what is sick though?
I was talking to a buddy from up in PA. last night and his engine builder built a twin turbo, injected sbc that dyno'd at a little over 2200 or 2300 hp!!!!

Anyone can own that motor or one just lke it for about $26K..
Way out of my league but man... I have seen mountain motors making less than that go for way more coin.

yep when the pro/mods are in town the twin turbo cars show up and are impressive to say the least... 8)

Doug that is a sweet monte and a great story to boot!!
In the random rods there is a blue 72 monte that pops up thats from my neck of the woods.It was owned by Bill Reed and now by his son...all steel monte back half street car ran 8.70's all day long...thing i loved was he had one of those baby on board signs in the rear side glass that said Grandpa on board!!
