Bluebaugh Racing’s Team AutoTrader has been working double time to prepare for the Street Car Super Nationals (SCSN) in Las Vegas November 20th-23rd, 2008. Bluebaugh has been going through the AutoTrader Monte Carlo making off season upgrades early in preparation for the event. Crew Chief Deborah Woodard said we really want the car to be at its best. The SCSN will draw some of the top Pro Street contenders from around the nation and the competition is expected to be fierce. While we are not the fastest car, being consistent with getting the AutoTrader Monte Carlo down the track has served as a winning strategy for us this season allowing us to seize another Pro Street Championship with the West Coast Hot Rod Association and finish 4th with the Pacific Street Car Association.
The Las Vegas Motor Speedway is a familiar track for Team AutoTrader, which will be an advantage. Last year SCSN proved its top rate competition with a 6.86 bump spot to qualify for the field. There is speculation that the bump will be tougher this year with increased car counts. Woodard said, we are going to step up with a goal of making the top half of the field and run our strategy the same way we have done all year.
Team AutoTrader will be joined by Pro Mod legend Charles Carpenter who will be working with Woodard during the race on the tuning set up. Both Bluebaugh and Woodard are hopeful of wrapping up the 2008 season with a great finish. The team has really put everything into this season possible and the results have paid off.
AutoTrader Publishing will run a special edition Bluebaugh Race Page out of the Las Vegas office for the team over the SCSN event. The full page ad will support Woodard’s Marketing Partnership participants and provide additional publicity for the SCSN. In addition to AutoTrader Publishing, the page will run in Auto Mart, Auto Mercado, and Harmon Auto all available in Nevada and the Las Vegas Area.
Woodard will be working with Speed Scene Racing airing on the show Tuesday November 18th the week of the SCSN event. Speed Scene Racing will be providing media coverage for Bluebaugh Racing and Team AutoTrader at the SCSN event in addition to providing coverage of SCSN and doing interviews with many participants on scene. Fans can tune into http://www.speedsceneracing.com weekly every Tuesday 6p Pacific time for cool racing coverage.
The team will also be meeting up with Carl Robinson of Mickey Thompson Tires who has been a great support to Bluebaugh Racing all season. Mickey Thompson will provide full service to all racers and have their team of engineers on hand to help racers with tire performance questions.
Bluebaugh Racing would like to especially thank Lamb Components, SCE Gaskets, and Dyno-Flo. All have worked last minute to help Team AutoTrader with preparation for the SCSN event. http://www.loperspeed.com is your premier online performance parts store. They have served us and many racers well over the years. Thanks to Mickey Thompson Tires for their 2nd year of support. Our trip to SCSN has been made possible in part with help from Mickey Thompson Tires and with help from Magna Fuel who is an original sponsor of Bluebaugh Racing, along with W.W. Williams, SI Valves, and Hughes Performance. Our official track photographer is Tim Marshall of Drew Photography.

Special thanks to our friend and consultant Charles Carpenter Racing for continuing support over the years. Bluebaugh Racing is supported by the World’s Fastest Organization, LLC along with WFO Racing and Machine.

Again Much Thanks to our Sponsors and Supporters
