That's the weird part - they're not prevalent on either the center or the outside. Imagine taking a roll of 1-1/2" masking tape and wrapping it around the tire evenly spaced about 1-1/2" apart - that's what it looks like.

When first wiped them off and looked, I saw a the rough on the edge of the tire, that stopped an inch or so in. I thought - oops - a bit too soft. Then I looked closer, and there is another strip of rough a ways inside that, then a smooth strip, then a rough strip...

Stop driving on rail-road tracks comes to mind!! Did you do a burnout over diamond plate? LOL

It is a weird one, but I would try dropping the air pressue a pound or 2 and see what happens. :D

You mean I wasn't supposed to burn across the drain grating?

I just talked to M&H. They said everything is perfectly normal. He says give them a few more runs to get broken in.

Perry, might just be because they are a little harder and require more passes. JMO.
If you think it's exciting now, wait till we start it.

     Sounds about right. 8) Good answer Perry.

If it hooks that good on half a tire, think what's gonna happen on the full surface of the tire,??

I spent my holiday weekend in the garage hacking off the back of my frame. Welded a new cross-member up where the frame starts looping up over the rear end. Cut off the frame behind the new member. Boxed the end of the frame. Made a new chute harness mount off of the new member that runs out through the back of the body. Remounted the chute pack on the back of the body - it's actually at the same angle and height that it was, but much cleaner looking.

Now I've got 4-5 inches of clearance on the bars. All the more room to wrap them up and stand the little bugger on its hiney.

Once I burn all of the lumps off my new tires, no tellin what's going to happen.

yeah yeah yeah....

I'll have to see if I can get some pics this weekend. I'd like a video so that I can see what it's really doing - then again - maybe I don't really want to see what it's really doing....

Maybe I'll just give one of the kids my camera phone - the quality won't be that great, but it might not be too bad since it will be plenty bright enough.
