Ok - it's finally running. Apparently it needs to have spark in order to run - engines are funny that way  Once I got some spark to it, it fired right up and sounded like its normal somewhat almost impressive self...
I got the new harness and stuff put in. I think it's ready to go again.

The race I was going to go to a few weeks ago looked for certain that it was going to rain, so I stayed home - it didn't rain.
I went to a show after looking at the weather which said it wasn't going to rain - it rained.

We brought our new-to-us motorhome home last week. Looks like it'll be a nice little unit. Hopefully the Ford V10 will tug my trailer up hills, we'll see soon enough. I reinforced the hitch last night - apparently someone at the Harney coach factory thought that it would be OK to just extend the top of the frame about a foot and hang the hitch on it with no ties to the side or bottom of the frame rail - thank god no one tried to use it to tow anything. Need to wire up a brake controller and add some air bags under the back and it should be good to go.

We're hoping to go to the Thompson Gasser meet next weekend. We're playing it by ear. Steve's 4x800 relay team made it to track regionals and is running tonight. If they keep winning, the state meet is next weekend - probably a bit more important than racing. Nathan has marching band camp part of that weekend too.
I may go racing someday

You'll get there, Perry! Sounds like LIFE takes priority and you've got your priorities right! Good luck when you get to the track and congrats on the new motorhome! Got any pics? WC1

Heading out to Quaker City tomorrow for another episode of their monthly nostalgia race. I finally got the throttle control installed on the car so I'll be figuring out how to drive it with the tranny brake.

Sunday we're taking it over to a car show at the MIlitary Aircraft Preservation Society in Canton.

Didn't make it out of the driveway... Got it loaded up, jumped in the motorhome to leave, and it will only stay running for about 10 seconds. I'm thinking maybe fuel pump... At least it died in the driveway instead of somewhere on the road.

Well - it looks like it will be an easy fix. Clean the mouse nest out of the MAF sensor...
