Thanks guys. The weekend definitely wasn't a total loss. I wanted to get close to some good numbers before going to KY. Down there we usually get 2 time runs, then it's time to run on an index. I'm close enough now, I should be able to get it tuned for the 9.10 index in a couple of runs. Close enough anyway.

Since I don't have the time slip handy, I'll have to rely on my feeble memory... I believe the 1/8 time on the 9.50 run was like 6.17 - but that seems too slow. If you plug 9.50 into the calculator, it spits back 6.00. Since the thing runs out of juice toward the end of the track with the throttle stopped, I think it should do better in the first 1/8'th.

I'll look at the slip tonight...

Went over and got my new little's mounted last night. My Goodyear front runners were rubbing on the fenders when I made the turns to get around the pits and into staging. Got me some cute little M&H's that are an inch narrower and 2 inches shorter. They look nice on the wheels - haven't set the car down yet to see what they gained me.

Perry, sounds like you only use em in the pits and for loading the car anyway,.....not on the strip!!
If you think it's exciting now, wait till we start it.

Yeah - I'm on the rubber saving plan - my goal is to run 1 set of front tires for the rest of my life - so I have to limit the amount of asphalt they see.
