2009 season

Postby pro70z28 » Fri Jan 16, 2009 8:14 pm

Does anybody have their schedule set for this summer? I see Rt. 66 has their schedule posted. They have 5 T&T's this year and they are on Saturdays instead of Tuesdays. NHRA Nats. June 4-7, NMRA/NMCA JUly 16-19 (might be a DLN IV conflict) DLN's Wins, Super Chevy Aug. 7-9. Cordova 1-2 times. That might be about it. Have to see what the year brings.
15th Annual DRAGLIST Nationals Sometime in 2020. Somewhere in the USA.

No, I don't yet. I have a USS Nimitz reunion at my house some time in late June. We are having a teleconference to discuss that with my old sea dawg pals. We have having a Japanese exchange student coming one of these weeks soon. Don't have any drag races set up yet (except the DLNs and of course I probably moved too slow on the hotel again). We need a 'cruise director.' Where's our own Lauren Tewes? bp

Nothing set in stone yet here, either. Pinks All Out is at Pacific Raceways in August (I think), we'd like to go and see if we can get on Teee-Veee. Other than that we're just waiting to see how our finances sort out. Need to fix up the garage before it falls down around the car, still need to buy a trailer, blah, blah blah.

Oir goal last year was to travel some with the car, WA, OR, ID & MT but we never even got close to that. One trip to Bremerton and a failed outing at Pacific, that was it. We would like to get to Spokane this summer and maybe a few trips to Yakima, but like I said, we'll just have to play it by ear.

Money may not buy happinness, but it sure can postpone a lot of misery.

Mine's up on my site. We're still adding the appearances though, have 3 so far this year that will all benefit different children's charities.

I'll be traveling some with the Woodard Racing Top Sportsman Team again in 2009. We are planning on both IHRA national events at Rockingham NC (spring & fall) and the MIR Presidents Cup race in Sept. and possibly the IHRA Sportsman Nationals 1/8th event at Richmond(Sandston) Va. Hope to do a few of the Pro Outlaw Doorslammer circuit events in Md and Va as well.

On the spectator end I'll be at the NHRA race at Virginia and possibly Bristol and the ADRL race at VMP.

Maybe one day I'll bump into the elusive BP

You got to get the lazy bastard out of his house first!

I sure should be able to make some dates... looking forward to meeting you, RH...

Also, who was our other new member a year ago who was moving to Waldorf? Are you here yet? bp
