Gonna post a build topic on my ride.
Started out few months ago as a stock, barely rolling '71 Torino GT.
Original 351C, drive-train, and ugly. Pulled the motor\tranny and did some engine bay re-furbing.
Current motor is a .040 over 351C, put some forged flat-tops and a mid-range HF cam, Weiand intake and a 750DP, Hooker Comp headers and "chevy" style electronic dizzy, C6 beefed a little with a 2500 stall conv.. This is the "driver" motor. Figure this will allow me to work all the other areas over and still be able to make a few cruise ins and such.
My final plan is a 408 stroker, alum. CHI or AFD heads, SF cam with beefed up valvetrain, 3500 stall, 4.86 gears added to the 9", about a 150-200 shot of juice, cal-trac setup in the back-half.
Car weighs in close to 4000, it'll never be a asphalt demon, but should be fun none the less.
