It sounds to me like CCM was the class of the event...which is exactly what I expected! Great report and a wonderful way to spend a fun weekend in January! Thanks for the terrific update and best of luck to you and the team in the future! Hope 23t gets that deal coming up in May! You guys ROCK! Cheers, WC1

WOW[[b Thanks BP, CCM & Zappy make the front page!!! YEEEE-HAAAA. I never dreamed.

It was a great day. 23 T let my son (PJ) make a pass. (I knew he was dying to get a turn). I got to take each one of my grandkids for their FIRST pass down a drag strip.(theres one for my bucket list). PJ also got to be the engine starter for the wheelie cart. All three of my boys helped 23 T carry in the weights to get ready for the Wheelie mastch race.

Thats another story: 23 was not goin to run the wheelie cart at first so there was no balast in it........BUT..... when a guy came out and stood his cart on the rear bumper, (but did'nt carry it very far), Daryl looked at me and said-"ya know what I gotta do now". And thats when we got busy.

The match was ON. 23 had concerns about the narrow lanes & short shutdown. But after the bumper drager he could'nt help but answer the call. BOTH times 23 carried the front ALL the way to the finish line (100 FT) strait as a chalk line, and stopped easily. There are two short Vids on u-tube I wish I knew how to do links, (maybe someone like WC1 can find them and link them here??)

Then he goes on to WIN the event & win best RT of elims.

THANKS again 23 T for trustin me with your cart.
THANKS BP for puttin us on the front page.
and thanks to the little boy who asked for my FIRST autograph.

Oh and there were lots of laughs too, but I'm ramblin again, ok I'll shut up.
I guess I had my 15 minutes of fame, Like WildCat always says: LIFE IS REAL GOOD

I think next year 23t needs to bring a second wheelie cart.....now since he can't drive two at once and Zappy is in the Mercedes....hmmmmm :) Where do I apply :D

It was a great time. Lots of laughs. Wide age range of people racing. Had a jr dragster driver kid up to guys in their 60's. There was a cart that showed up with some ugly Ohio State Buckeye junk on it, luckily a Michigan cart soon showed up so they had a grudge match.

Can't wait until the next one.
