It is never too late to learn more stuff. Roo told me if I heated the carbon fiber I could shape it and then hit it with cold air from the air hose. Then it would hold the new shape. So yesterday I gave it a try on the roof escape hatch. It worked really slick as you can see.
The roof hatch is off a big show car and had a slightly different curve than the Vette roof.

I had to end up re-glassing the wheel wells due to the gel coat covering some air bubble/holds in the body in that area.
I got them all done except one yesterday. Monday I will finish it. I need to square up the openings in the hood, roof, windows, and tail lamps. Then it will be ready to prime.
