So did you hear any good stories , or steal some tune-up secrets with all those parts out in the open...
Did Norman graduate the engine assembly school ?
Are you still sleeping on the floor, hugging the short block ?
Did Laura mind the cylinder heads in her bed?
Inquiring minds want to know...

Oh heck yeah we got stories. We have breakfast stories, 12-inch round cinnamon rolls, which did make the trip from the great white north down to Waukee town, for Laura stories. Norm's chances of staying the "Truck Driver" are getting slimmer with each adventure.   think we missed every turn we were supposed to take in Minn. He had us both in tears from laughing so hard on Sunday morning just trying to get Ol' Rapid his morning Pepsi. As Norm explained it to me, as we passed the 420th Coke machine. If I would just switch over we would have been at the shop already!!

I took secret photos of the fuel sys and the highly sought after "holy grail" tune up books every time Jerry would leave it unattended.

Norman did get his degree in Nitro engine building. He is displaying it proudly in the living room by his "last dollar" that he currently still has!! :P

Norm took the short block to his house to prove he has been spending wisely, or else to show his buddys,,,one of those two reasons.

Laura likes the cylinder heads better,,,they are prettier and don't snore. I think we may need a new set for the car as these aren't leaving the house now! :D

It's not my fault that every freeway entrance ramp in Minnesota looks like a frontage road. Randy's right about the Coke machines. Everytime you turned around a Coke machine was staring at you but noooooo, I was determined to find Pepsi somewhere. :)
