Look at it this way, Al...with the inception of the DLN's East in May, thats twice as many chances for Gary to get that beast to the track

I folded under the pressure from Al and worked on the camaro this weekend (sorta'). :D :D :D
I haven't had a free weekend for months, but this weekend I had some time so I started to assemble the caah stands I've been cutting out a little here & a little there.
I welded til noon, then cut down some trees & hung a door for Jenni & J.D. then came back and worked on the stands some more.
This afternoon I finished them up & jacked up the "Z". Made some adjusters out of 3/4'' bolts, so I can level them. I wanted to mark them so I could set the stand back on the floor in the same spot each time & have them be level, so I made some decals to keep them in the right locations. Also, the stand decks are 15''x15'' , just the right size for the scales, so I can weigh it on the stands if I get the urge. It's no hoist, but it should make working on the "Z" a little more convenient.

Now, with a little luck, maybe I'll get some time to work on the firewall......I hope......

ProZ, you are the most innovative guy. These things you make are awesome! Glad to see you found some time to work on the Z. Thanks for the pics...they are amazing. Cheers, WC1

Years ago, I would leave the Altered on the trailer too.
I found it a lot easier to work on up there. 8)

Cool Pic Jean. Doc I just used a floor jack & stands, Then jacked it up again with a block on the jack. Before I take it down I'll have a better set-up.

Had a little time today to work on the "Z". I straightened up a couple places on the firewall so I'd have a straight clean edge to start rebuilding. Then I made one of the two wells the intercooler tubes will pass through. I might use this one or I may try another approach. I'd like the mating surface to be a little smoother than this one. [shrinker sorta' wrinkled it a little]. This is my first attempt at any ''real'' metal shaping so there may be a few trial & error attempts on this deal.
