We plan to leave Monday after work, drive awhile, find a place to get a few winks, then head to Gettysburg Tuseday. We wanted to spend more time there (got rained out last time), so we have reservations at the Gettysburg Battlefield hotel for Tuseday night. Head for Walforf Wednesday morning.

I think from seeing ProZ's post a few pages earlier (about taking a tour on the 17th) that it's the 18th-20th...correct me if I'm wrong!

That is great news! I have been so busy and my mind so occupied with other things that I haven't concentrated on this. So cool! bp

Jeff came home last night & said his DLN vacation time was rejected, becuse it lands on inventory time. He's not giving up yet, he said he would talk to his supervisor to see if an exception can be made. They say he's one of their most reliable employees, so you'd hope they cut him some slack, but you never know how cororate america will react.

I sure hope he can get that off. The DLNs are not the same without Jeff! bp

I do have some disappointing news... Danny and Gena White can't join us this year. It's just too close to the beginning of their school year when they have responsibilities as teachers to begin setting things up with their new students. We will miss them, but we certainly understand. Perhaps future DLNs will take place away from the beginning of the school year. That's why Denise missed the Cordova events... bp

Yes John those are the dates. Though the years of our gatherings,it has become more about socializing than Drag Racing. We would not be disappointed if we got together without a race event as the focus. That would open a lot of dates for planning.
