Cool, guys! We will be leaving Friday morning from Omaha and getting to Eddyville as soon as we can after that! The van has nice ice cold A/C again, cruise control, a horn, and the air bag light is off... (all for the bargain price of $2000    ) oh well, it's only money.... for all the dollars I've put into that thing in the last month, we could go back to Disney World for another week! At least I won't be picking prairie dust out of my teeth as I go Eastward! bp

hmmmm Philly's Pizza.......... There's always room for take out. Do they still make those grilled ham & cheese sandwiches on toasted bread?

I will have been draging the trailer around since Sunday, I don't think one more day will matter.

Folks, NovelT and I will be leaving the Des Moines airport by probably no later than 5:30 Friday afternoon. We'll be heading out to either the track or the motel...knowing us, it will probably be the track first. I figure we'll be catching up with you folks out there by what...7? Or we could go check in to the motel first then meet up somewhere? Rapid's house? The restaurant? Cheers, WC1

WC, the track and the motel are within 10-minutes of each other. Head to either one, then call one of our cells. Mine is 515-238-1897.

Starting to get really excited for this deal.

Absolutely! Hey, we need to nail down the eatin' place for Friday night. We have a choice of the place that we went to last year (pretty good and plenty of room with advance notice) or I keep hearing about this pasta place that's pretty good. Or something else? We should set that up and set a time to meet there... we can head down to the track before or after... of course, the breakfast area of the hotel will get a heavy workout morning, noon and night! bp
