My Draglist 3 Adventure

Postby Iowa Al » Tue Jul 22, 2008 12:51 pm

Saturday after the event ended, I had the worst drive of my life.
I was 24 miles from home and the wind was trying to blow me off the road. Having a 2 ton Jeep helped me keep going.
Then 8 miles from home it started raining so hard I slowed down to 35 and put my 4 way flashers on. It let up enough when I got in the driveway that I grabbed my camera bag and ran in the house. I cleaned out the Jeep Sunday morning.
But, other than that, I had a great time. Missed the Zappy awards though.
I have a CD of photos almost ready to send BP. Hope to mail them tomorrow.
Thanks to all you great folks that came to Eddyville from miles away.

Good seeing you again Al. Sorry about the rain. We had a deal like that here Monday morning. 70MPH winds in some spots & heavy rain.
