Since I drive back and forth from home, I don't know the eating places in Osky. Just name the joint and time and we'll be there.

Bonanza steakhouse . on hwy 63 and 92 641-673-7743 should we have to send Rock on a recon mission to make sure?? according to the website (corperate) they weren't affected by the chap11 proceedings that closed applebees .

and also the place we had breakfast at on Sunday we should try to set up reservations about a week ahead to make sure we get a good head count .
Was running late today but drove by Bonanza it was open talk to some racers that live in Osky they said business as usual

DLN's is getting closer, so I figured I better get the oL' truck ready for the trip. Took it in to get the A/C charged & turns out the junk yard compressor I threw on it last fall to hold the belt on is no goota'. So, $580 bux later we now have cold air again. The oL' Chevy has been cheap on parts over the years, that is except for the A/C. I've gone through 5 pumps to date. (3 under warranty). It's the old pancake style compressor.
So, now the radio stopped workin'. Worked fine when I got it back, for awhile, then just decided to stop workin'. :? So, I think I'll go junk yard divin' for a used one next week. Still got a short in the electric brake wire somewhere between the bat. & the trailer plug. Got a new trailer plug cuz' the flapper door on the old one is broke. I'm hopin' the short is in the plug since the plug is bad, sure would make life easier if it was. Fix a loose passenger side door panel & Oil, Filter, Lube and we should be ready to go. I'm hopin' to keep the oL' truck patched together for another year or 2. We'll see if it makes it. :?:

Jeff picked up something on the bridge going over to Jeni & J,D,'s last night. Took a chunk out of the sidewall of one of his rear tires. Didn't seem to hurt the wheel but the tire is most definitely toast. We grabbed his slicks and took them over to get it back home. So, now Jeff has to order a tire because no one stocks that size around here. He's debating whether to buy one or two since they weren't that old. I guess it will depend on what's available. Jeff got another set of plug wires for the camaro. He bought a set of "make 'em yourself" wires this time so he can reroute them. The factory sets go under the exhaust manifold and since he has headers there's no room to clear the header enough to keep them from frying. He should be able to fix that problem now with the longer wires. He's pickin' up a problem with his EGR valve, he thinks it's a vac leak so that shouldn't be too tough to fix. We should be goota' to go by DLN's IV.

Replaced the radio box under the dash with a salvage unit. radio works & the clock problem went away.
replaced the trailer plug & the brake wire short went away. The the lights & B-R-A-K-E-S work goota' now.
I even replaced the tail light lens that's been cracked for going on two yrs.

Jeff's not having the same luck. Looks like they don't make that tire Ann E. Moore, so he might have to buy a new pair.
