Had a great time. It was nice and hot like it is supposed to be in Iowa in July. Loved the cake, nearly didn't let it get cut up!!!
Sucks about the fuel system, but darn glad we found it before we made a run. KB dropped off the car trailer a little while ago. I will pull it down tomorrow and find out what the exact deal is.

I wanted to thank everyone for making my wife feel welcome. She had a great time and it looks like we have another Draglister.
It was great to get to meet her & Norm for the first time. Glad she enjoyed. Thanks for the BBQ, it was OUTSTANDING !!!

Well, as for me, I had a great day and then a bad night.
Got home from the track about 11:45, got a shower and went to bed
Woke up about 3:30 not feeling good. Think it was the 24 hour bug,
cause I am about back to normal after a rough day yesterday. And
Boyd, Susan and Randy were coming by and that deal went up in
flames. A guy ain't much of a host from the bathroom. LOL
It was great to see everyone and glad to hear Carol had a good
time.

Ha ha. I know it was discussed, so hope Randy got 'em! His team was so great on that car. Sorry for the fuel issues, but finding them at the Draglist Nats instead of at the Cordova World Series with 12 bad hombres facing ya down is definitely the way to go!
Sorry Al didn't feel well, but glad he's back!
We made it to lovely Cleveland (no joke). Just spend a half hour at Edgewater Park on Lake Erie. So beautiful in the afternoon sun. Now getting set up for Racin' and Rockin' in sister Nancy's place (same place as last year's Steve Gibbs show but we have INTERNET this year!
