Hey Mike, I considered you safe as you were in your own motor home.

Glad you made it safe and happy! 8)

Yup....I be safely back in my own zip code as well......I need to hit my pillow (after a MUCH deserved shower  ) in the worst kinda way....but I could not resist comandeering a buddy of mine's keyboard to check in with this fabulous group of people........

After a few thousand winks....."maybe" I'll be able to organize my thoughts into some sort of coherent post.......
Long Live Draglist!

Picking this thread up again. Somehow, I spent 10 days in Sterling, Colorado, doing nothing but eating, sleeping, and swimming! I guess I did stay up late a few nights working on the drag lists and on the five new stories I posted early, early this morning. BUT... no personal story of the Draglist Nats other than my 'tagging on' to stuff already posted. I am back in Omaha at Trevor and Dynell's house after crossing the great state of Nebraska LENGTHWISE... Maybe now that I'm edging closer to the East and back to reality, I can start getting my STORY JOB done! What I have thought about doing is taking everyone's memories that have been posted so far and publishing a MEGA STORY from everyone's perspective. If that's OK with everyone, I might tackle that this week... We'll leave in the morning for Portage, Indiana, to the home of Jerry Gilles and Cheryl Minton, who will host the Pratt clan tomorrow night. That's the entire state of Iowa and Illinois... after Nebraska, we're READY!!! See ya! bp

The only little tid-bit I left out of the story had to do with the amount of fuel we used to get there and back. 452 gallons!! GULP!
