The caah normally 60 ft's around 2.00 + or- but on Jeff's record pass he had a 1.27 60 ft., that was an amazing difference. (E.T. from the launch right ZAP?) .
RIGHT sir. I'm glad Jeff listened to us "old guys" :P when we suggested he get after it earlier (1/2 way thru 1st gear ) the results speak for themselvs.

Should be high 12's if he keeps up with the juice. He hasn't made a 1/4 mile pass on the stuff yet.

that intake he is running isn't a high speed intake its made for low end torque ( tops out at about 5 grand on power ) , but as long as you watch the plugs and be careful when you shoot the juice as if you do it in the lower gears you can bend the factory rods .when I was at the NOS seminar with Mike Thermos he reccomended only giving it the juice in the upper 2 gears with factory rods, never out of the hole . also if your running the hugger headers ( tubular exaust manifolds) they are restrictive and are a little better than stockers in flow style , some guys are using the old vette rams horns with sucess , or switching over to long tubes and oval exausts for clearance ( spintech.com ) . and the long tubes ( 41 ") really wake the motor up. and also see what type of o2 sensors he has , NTKs or densos are the most accurate for tuning .

Pro, perhaps Jeff will re-think your suggestion about goin auto-trans. he is giving up a lot of ET on those shifts. That alone would give him his "7".

I suggested that, and I got a definite "NO". I even offered to let him use my Rossler if he could find an adapter & converter, but that is definitely off the table. He said if anything, he might consider a 5 speed sometime down the road.

Jeff picked up a torque arm from the salvage yard today so he can get some driving time in before winter. Too bad he pitched the old one.
