we are flying out early tomorrow for Chicago,will be in Le Clair Ia.in the afternoon. I'm not sure who is coming this year,we'll see you Thurs.night or Friday I expect.

WE are gonna try to get an early start Thur. AM ?? Should be there mid to late afternoon, but in time to eat dinner with you, Susan, Gary& Cheryl. And BP, and who ever else is there. We'll give a call when we get to hotel.

Went to dinner at Sneaky Petes Steakhouse and a DRAGLIST Party broke out!!

It sure did!!! BP,Gary Cheryl Jeff, Boyd Susan, LL and I were having dinner when LL spotted a "Super Crew" T-shirt walk by. We all said Hey Draglist, then right behind was Greg Green,Randy Baker, and crew.
FRi. early AM Jeff And Pro-Z are gonna try to get a time run in before meeting up with the rest of the gang for the boat ride / lunch cruise 11:15.
After the cruise those going to the track Fri. will head over. Lookin forward to meeting Purple 66 - Animal Jim - Bret Kepner - Danny Miller.

Man...this is like seeing a family reunion...and I'm missing it! I promise I'll be there next year!

What a day!!! Breakfast with Greg & Randy, then the boat cruise, great lunch. Head to track about 3. Hook up with Ohio Dave. Walk the pits with Boyd, find & meet Purple 66. Meet Animal Jim. About 5:30 head to the stands for the "show" , found a shady seat about 300ft, perfect!!

Enjoyed the whole show with Boyd, GREAT weather, 12 FC's - Pro Mods - The MSSM cars - Quick 8 - 5 jets - one wheelstander.
Very clean race, only 2 oil clean-ups, no one off the end, no one hit the wall, one took out some cones.

Just sat in the looby listening to Rapid & Animal tell stories till 1:30AM. Tomarrow more of the same + nitro Dragsters Tommy Johnson Jr. vs Bruise Littin.

Another great World Series and another great Draglist Nats. Just had a super late dinner with Gary, Jeff, Boyd, Susan, Zappy, and Linda. And then we are meeting in a few short hours for breakfast, but not before Zappy takes Gary and Jeff to the track to compete in the continuing sportsman racing. Danny Miller came both days and was very touched by the banner and the t-shirts. He wore his with pride and they took the VERY full of signatures banner home with them.
